Vampires are one of the most powerful creatures of the Lands. Being a creature of the undead, they requie copius quantities of fresh blood. Instead of using mana, Vampires use blood points (bp) for spell casting. If a Vampire takes a large amount of damage, blood points will be lose, but, blood points can give a small surge of hit points (hp) in battle when needed.

As an undead creature of the night, a Vampire will receive an armor class (ac) bonus at night, a time when they can use the skill mistwalk. Additionally, all Vampires can learn to feed and use claw & bite attacks as soon as they can practice them.
