While we do feel that simply reading our laws is not that difficult and we will enforce them under the assumption that you have read them, this summary of our basic laws exists for those who just want a quick reminder or synapsis.

Note: The Lands are governed by a set of laws, most of which are simple common sense and courtesy, and all of which must be followed to ensure everyone the opportunity to enjoy the game. As with any mud, a player's presence here is a priviledge, not a right, and is something we fully reserve the right to deny at any time at our discretion.

The Immortals of the Lands are responsible for enforcing these laws, and their decisions in these matters will be abided. If you feel that an Immortal has treated you unfairly, you may petition directly to a level 56 (God) or higher or you may petition via a note at the Darkhaven Academy. The decisions of a level 56 (God) or higher are final. To see which Immortals are online and visible, type who 51 at any time.

Our Main Laws:

• Thou shalt not group kill a player unless involved in an approved clan war.
• Thou shalt not kill a player over and over again just because you can.
• Thou shalt not assist players in any way with solving quests.
• Thou shalt not loot [QUEST] gear. No Exceptions!
• Thou shalt not abuse verbally or otherwise any other player. (see laws harassment)
• Thou shalt not possess clan items other than from the clan that you belong to.
• Thou shalt not talk back to, ignore, or insult any immortal at any time.
• Thou shalt use role play at all times with your character when not in OOC: though role play is not enforced mud wide at this time, do not chat or use other public channels except OOC for non-in-character communications. This does not include says or tells.
• Thou shalt NOT abuse any bugs found, but any bugs or typos found must be reported by way of the bug and typo commands appropriately. (see laws cheating)
• Thou shalt NOT use foul language openly. (see laws profanity)
• Thou shalt not attack Darkhaven Shop Keepers. (see laws stores)
• Thou shalt not multiplay with a deadly. (see laws multiplaying)
• Thou shalt not share characters except in special cases. (see laws sharing)
• Thou shalt not steal a kill (see laws killsteal) nor stake mobs. (see laws stake)
• Thou shalt not spam others (see laws spam), nor bring dangerous mobs into cities. (see laws charm)
• Thou shalt treat all others as thou wishes to be treated, and thou shalt expect that same treatment to be returned in full.
