Hecate appears as a beautiful women and is the goddess of magecraft. Her powers are greater at night but wax and wane with the moon. Her followers enjoy a rapport with spirits and are sworn to exterminate insects. For those followers intelligent enough to gain her favor Hecate often makes them resistant to magic and able to ingnore that with would bar their passage. For those followers who neglect the standard sacrifice on the night of the full moon the punishment is a susceptiblity to that with is nonmagical. Her holy symbol bears her image with three faces.
