Bad News, I'm afraid.  Kareie has separated from me.  We're still talking, trying to work things out, but it's not going to be a short separation from the looks of things.  I don't want to get into details, or blame.  I have no internet access right now, so I won't be able to post very often. (I'm using the public library right now.)  Between work, packing the whole house, and trying to find a place to live, I don't have enough hours in the day.  I didn't want to just disappear, so I stopped by to say see ya later. :bye: Hopefully, it won't be too long.

Yup, they rushed it into being so fast, that nobody even knew if they had to observe it this year or not.  Half the Chemical Valley was 'closed' for it, while the other half was business as usual.  I got it off, cause most of our customers were closed, but the boss had to do a couple of out of town runs.  It really irritated him, cause he drove all the way to Barrie (about 4 hours one way) to find out the place was closed, and he had to chose whether to stay over, or come home and go back the next day...

Wow, lots of holidays listed there, Conner.  But, you missed one.  February 18 is the very first Family Day in Ontario, Canada.  This is a brand new stat holiday, to celebrate the idea of family.  It's a secular holiday, with no religious ties.  Part of its idea was to break up the monotony of the winter blahs.  It is to be the third monday of February.

Personally, I don't much care for it.  I'm not against Family, mind.  But if theey were going to give us another Stat, I'd have prefered to have Remembrance Day (Veteran's Day) back as a stat.  The weather is almost always better in Nov than Feb.
